Karwar Education Society is a pioneer in the field of education in Uttara Kannada District and has brought about a silent revolution in the academic thought process, with its initiative in the formal education system. Balmandir came to be established initially with Marathi Medium in the year 1952, and later on started offering meaningful education in English and Kannada Medium.

One of the fundamental principles of democracy is that it allows people to participate in decisions that affect their lives. The students get hands-on experience which helps ingrain values of democracy in pupils. Our School Parliament consists of School Leader, School Vice-Leader along with four different houses each leader representing their respective house along with their responsibilities.
As per Indian Parampara Guru Purnima is the tradition of mentoring where teachings are transmitted from a Guru to Shishya also highlighting the bond of love and bhakti between the Guru and Shishya.
Our activities - On this day the festival is traditionally observed by the students by paying respects to their Parents and Gurus. Further carried out with Skits, Fancy dress competition, Dance, Shloka recitation.
Shri Krishna Janmashtami has a special significance in our school. The birth anniversary of Shri Krishna is celebrated with great affection, joy and devotion. Lord Krishna preached the value of performing right karma and the theory of bhakti.

We aim to inspire and motivate the students to be part of the scientific and Culture revolution that is taking place in the world. Our school fair consists of Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Art, Craft exhibitions.
Sports day in school has been proven to enhance mental and physical development, as well as social skills and even improvements in academic performance. It helps the students to showcase their athletic abilities in front of an enthusiastic audience. It happens on the basis of the division of houses. Sports Day is a very exciting and happy day that every student looks forward to.
Balapratibhotsava is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity where the students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements.
